One of my favorite things is coming across ideas for simplifying my life involving things already cluttering up my home. This is an antique frame that Matt backed with window screen so I could hang my hook earrings on! Sweet!
And, if you're the mom of a little girl... what in the world do you do with all the hairbands, barrettes, scrunchies, etc that go along with her? We went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and got a great drawer organizer that got most of it corraled into some sort of order. But, for all the elastics... how about one of those carbiner (who knew they were called that??) thingys I'm sure you have laying around? Presto! Easy now to keep them from leaping out of the drawer everywhere, only to be sucked up by the vaccuum.
